Guermo's Surprise
Liz was
planning the surprise party for her husband. She had been meticulously preparing for this event,
and was very excited about the party. She invited family members who Guermo
hadn’t seen in years. The party was to be
on Saturday, but Guermo said to her that he did not want a surprise party.
Liz did not know what to do because she had been planning the
party for more than a year. The day of the party
Guermo was shocked when he saw the friends who he had not seen in nearly 20 years and his family
members. He was angry with his wife and
he knew he could be emotional, and he did not like people to see him that way.
The home of Liz and Guermo was filled with food and salsa music. Liz whispered an “I love you” in Guermo’s ear, they kissed,
and the two danced the rest of the night.
